Dog Walking

This service is ideal for those stuck at work all day, going out for the day/night or just not feeling up to a walk.
Dogs need both mental and physical stimulation for good health and well-being. Walking is one of the best ways to exercise your dog as it helps with training and teaches them social skills. We offer both random and regular walks and we can also do walks at short notice.
We take your dog out locally to exercise them either on or off lead depending on your preference. They can also either be walked on their own for the less social or older dog or we can walk them with a few other dogs so they can make friends and play with and learn from other well socialised dogs. In hot humid weather we walk them in shaded area's or take them swimming and take plenty of drinking water to keep them hydrated and in the wetter weather we towel them down before returning them to your home so no muddy paws on their return. We also carry toys/balls out on walks for lots of playtime for the more energetic high drive dogs and we can cycle/skate them round the park to help them really let of steam.
Your dog's safety, welfare and happiness will always be paramount. Before walking I would meet you and your dog at a free ''Meet & Greet'' to discuss how you would like them taken cared for and any quirks, fears or preferences they may have. Then on the first few walks I will keep them on flexi lead on their own so that I can start to form a bond with them. When I am confident on their recall I will let them off lead with your permission and continue to reinforce good recall skills.
We always use positive reinforcement whilst out on walks so that your dogs have lots of fun time after time. After their walk, your dog will come back home content having relieved themselves and used up a lot of excess energy which makes for a happier and more well-balanced dog.
